Pass a prop challenge like a process
A prop challenge is a discipline exam wearing the costume of a trading contest, and the rules sheet is the entire exam.
You leave with Personal lines under the firm's lines, and a day that repeats

Translate the rules into your rules
Every firm publishes the same trio: daily loss limit, overall drawdown, profit target. Translate them into personal limits with margin: if the daily stop is 5 percent, yours is 3. In reps, prop accounts carry these limits on the account itself and the dashboard tracks the distance to each line.
Size for the boring middle
- Risk per trade small enough that five straight losses change nothing but the mood.
- No size increases inside a drawdown: doubling to catch up is how challenges end early.
- The day after a limit warning is a half-size day by default.
Make the deadline irrelevant
The timer sells urgency, and urgency sells re-attempts. Trade as if the challenge had no end date: the target is a byproduct of a repeatable day, not a summit push. A challenge passed in a sprint teaches habits the funded account then has to unlearn.
The firm is not testing whether you can make 8 percent. It is testing whether you can refuse to lose 5.
Log every challenge day like a normal day: same review, same three questions, and a Telegram limit alert as the tripwire. Funded is just the streak, continued on someone else's balance.
Done if
- Your personal daily stop and drawdown line are written down, both under the firm's.
- Risk per trade is sized so five straight losses change nothing but the mood.
- Limit alerts are set up in Telegram before the first challenge day.
